The Graphic Designer strategically designs and physically produces mail, newsletters, infographics, info sheets, and social media posts. The role involves creating content, managing several different concurrent projects, and producing materials for a variety of both physical and online channels. This is an at-will, partisan, senior level position who leads the Speaker of the House’s personal communication efforts. The Press Secretary communicates the Speaker’s position to the media, schedules interviews, responds to media requests, advises the Speaker on communication strategies, manages multiple social media accounts, and drafts all public comments and correspondence. Position Summary: This is a full-time, salaried position both in the Lansing office and in the district of State Representative Natalie Price.
The primary role is communicating with constituents, providing them with information and help obtaining services such as: unemployment; healthcare; and food assistance.
