Description: Representative Chuck Moss is currently looking to fill several internship positions for the upcoming semester. Interns will work with the Representative and his legislative staff in his Lansing office to gain a valuable hands-on experience working with the state government and the legislative process. Some responsibilities will include letter writing, solving constituent problems, legislative research and all other facets of the office operation. Students will gain valuable hands-on office experience in a fast-paced environment. Hours are negotiable.
Salary Range: This is an unpaid position but college credit is possible. (See your school's Internship Coordinator.)
Minimum Qualifications: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Previous office experience and knowledge of the legislative process is a plus but not required. Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.
