Description: The Michigan House of Representatives is currently looking to fill two part-time Page positions.  We are seeking a responsible and professional individual to perform the following duties: distributing documents in the House Chamber to Representatives’ desks, delivering and retrieving interdepartmental mail from specified offices, and assisting other support staff with reception desk duties, mailings and other office tasks.  These Pages will be working for the Clerk of the House and assisting the House Sergeants at Arms police department.

Salary Range: $10.50 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must be a student, veteran, or participant in job entry program.  Applicants must be: at least 18 years old, dependable, and capable of making deliveries and pickups in all types of weather conditions.  Position requires professional telephone and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work with all types of people.  Applicants should have a list of three or four references available upon request.  Knowledge of the Legislature is desired but not required.
