Description: An intern with journalism experience is available in Rep. Maureen Stapleton 's Lansing office. This position with work directly with the Representatives to maximize their communications efforts. Typical tasks will include composing press releases, writing e-newsletters and e-blast for district constituents.
Salary Range: This is an unpaid position, but college credit is possible. (See your school’s Internship Coordinator)
Minimum Qualifications:The ideal candidate must have a strong commitment to Democratic values, proven professional writing skills, and a tremendous work ethic. A journalism or political science student is preferred.
